‘Arcade Fire’ remains atop the Billboard Alternative Albums chart with the band’s latest effort The Suburbs.

The Montreal-based group also is currently number three on both the Rock Albums and Independent Albums charts and holds the 16 spot on the Billboard200 chart.

In other recent news, the band has teamed up with Google developers to create the first HTML5-powered interactive music video for their current single “We Used to Wait.” The video allows one to integrate visual data of their hometown using Google Maps, Street View and the 3-D graphics engine using HTML5.

“‘The Wilderness Downtown’ takes you down memory lane through the streets you grew up in,” Aaron Koblin wrote in a blog post from Google Creative Lab.
