Fox’s hit musical sitcom, “Glee,” is heading to the video game console known as the Wii. Video game maker Konami has announced that “Karaoke Revolution Glee” will be released this fall for the Nintendo gaming system. The company’s president, Shinji Hirano, says in a statement, quote, “This partnership with Fox is very symbolic to us as we are thrilled to be the first to bring ‘Glee’ to video game consoles.” The game will feature interactive characters, themes, and music. The karaoke point game will allow players to sing along with their favorite characters to 35 songs from the show’s first season. A multiplayer feature on the game will even allow several players to divvy up duties as main and backup vocalists. “Karaoke Revolution Glee” will also feature voice recognition technology to score vocal pitch and rhythm for its players. The game will hit retail this fall.
