Sources tell E! News that Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones aren’t the only ones not coming back to X Factor next season. Believe it or not, Fox has informed Simon Cowell’s longtime friend Paula Abdul she won’t be needed for the series’ next installment.

The DIRECTV Celebrity Beach Bowl, which is FREE and open to the public, has become one of the must-attend events of Super Bowl weekend, with Hollywood’s brightest stars competing against NFL greats in a no-holds-barred flag football game in front of thousands of fervent fans. The action will take place in a specially constructed 5,000-concert-capacity stadium, complete with a sand-filled football field and concert stage. Immediately following the game and trophy presentation, the crowd will fill the beach for a concert presented by Palladia HD featuring GRAMMY Award-nominated band, The Fray, performing songs from their upcoming album Scars and Stories. – Source

A group of Indianapolis police officers spent their Saturday afternoon teaching local teenagers a history lesson. They took about 20 kids to see the World War II film “Red Tails,” which tells the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of black pilots. “I think, ultimately, we hope that they understand the importance of history,” IMPD Lt. Randal Taylor said, “basically just be encouraged and know that people have done great things in the past and know that these kids can do great things in the future.”

After the movie was over, he said, the children told the officers that they learned the importance of forgiveness and of fighting with their minds, not their hands. “It showed that they’re actually getting it,” Cox said. – Source
