Raven began writing rap music at age 12 and by age 16 he began recording. At age 18 Raven was operating a digital recording studio with his younger brother Boris. By age 19, Raven released two Underground mix tapes one entitled RAW, collaborating with artist A-WALL followed by a solo album entitled “Wizeguy”. By this time Raven had become a young adult, with financial obligations. Raven turned to the streets for financial support. He soon found himself engaged in heavy legal trouble facing possible imprisonment. Ultimately, Raven was sentenced to serve two years on house arrest. During this time, Raven found himself naturally returning to his first passion, music. With his new found free time, he began to educate himself on different aspects of the music business. He began writing and recording, with a much more passionate and serious demeanor, gaining respect and attention.

Raven came to the realization that music is his calling, investing heavily into his music career. He has been performing at many hot nightclubs throughout Indianapolis and has also been the opening act for many major recording artists. Raven is currently doing shows, pushing his music in the streets as well as the internet, and working on his mix tape soon to be released later this year.

In its first season, Glee featured some weirdly eclectic song choices: Remember “Thong Song” and “Sweet Caroline” in the “Mash-Up” episode? But in the season-two premiere on September 21st, the show will outdo itself. Rolling Stone has learned that the first episode will feature renditions of Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind,” Lady Gaga’s “Telephone,” Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire,” and Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.” In true Gleek fashion, the cast will also perform two vintage Broadway musical standards — “What I Did for Love” from A Chorus Line and “Getting to Know You” from The King and I — as well as “Listen” from the film version of Dreamgirls.

According to the series’ music supervisor, P.J. Bloom, the episode’s plot paved the way for the Jay-Z track: Having placed at the Regional competition in last season’s finale, New Directions will travel to New York for the Nationals. “So we needed a New York song,” explains Bloom. He also says that the use of a second Gaga song — after “Bad Romance” in the previous season — is all due to co-creator Ryan Murphy. “Ryan’s a huge Lady Gaga fan,” Bloom says. “I suspect we’re going to continue to look to her to be part of the show.”

The following week will see the premiere of the show’s all-Britney Spears episode, which will include performances of five Spears songs — although for now, no one’s saying which ones. Bloom is also promising an “additional recording” for the episode, but is mum on details. (We’re already picturing Spears and Matthew Morrison doing a Britney-and-Justin-style duet, but maybe that’s just us.) In other Glee music news: Another soundtrack album could arrive as early as October, and Morrison is wrapping up his solo debut, due on Mercury Records early in 2011.

DJ Clue of Power 105 in New York conducted a brief interview where the two men settled their differences.

The entire incident started after Soulja Boy was allegedly caught in a tryst with Kat Stack, who said the young rapper was snorting cocaine. The vixen also showed a plate of the illegal drug in an online video.

After the video went viral, Fabolous took to his Twitter with commentary that used humorous lingo “#stupidboyswag,” a play off Soulja Boy’s hit “Pretty Boy Swag.”

“I thought that he was taking shots at me, when it was just jokes. It was a misunderstanding, a mis-communication,” Soulja Boy said on the radio on Wednesday night. “I’m about making money.”

Fabolous was brief and agreed with his younger counterpart.

“We’re not trying to make a LeBron special…we smoothed it out and back to the money,” he said. “I know people thought it was going to be a [Manny] Pacquiao fight, but we sat down like bosses.

During the interview, DJ Clue said that the pair had exchanged information so that there would be no more misunderstandings.

Yes, he’s only 16, and his adorable haircut makes it difficult to take him seriously, but JBiebs is a star by any definition. For proof, consider that he recently sold out New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden in 22 minutes! Footage from that show will be packaged as part of a documentary of the former YouTube sensation’s life that’s set to hit theaters on Valentine’s Day. He’s also filmed a guest role on one of TV’s biggest shows, “CSI,” and his future most likely includes a movie produced by a guy named Will Smith. Maybe you’ve heard of him?

And that’s not all. In a new interview with Teen Vogue, Justin makes it clear his world takeover is not yet complete. He suggests Selena Gomez would be the perfect co-star for him in a romantic comedy, and during a conversation with his manager, Scooter Braun, Justin seems eager to do more acting, despite a booked-solid schedule for at least the rest of the year.

“I want to be the lead star in a movie. Can we make that happen, Scooter?” Justin asks.

“I think everyone wants that,” his manager answers.

“Yo, but why don’t we do it … soon?” Justin asks again.

If the Canadian crooner sounds like a normal teen, that’s because he spends a lot of time doing things like skateboarding and hanging out with his friends. Of course, his female-heavy fan base can occasionally be a problem. The singer kindly offered some advice for those who choose to approach him: “Just talk to me. Ask me how I’m doing,” he advises. “Introduce yourself instead of yelling, ‘Justin! Justin! Justin! Can I have a picture?’ And don’t come up to me while I’m eating. How would you like it if I came into your house and started taking pictures of you while you were eating? I hate that.”

With so much success, the pop star himself admits that even he’s sometimes overwhelmed. “It’s still amazing to see people wearing my shirts,” he says. “But I feel like I can’t get away from myself. Like, I go to Walmart and I just want to go get some boxers and socks, but there are posters of me everywhere. Or my song comes on the radio, and it’s like, ‘Aah!’”

We know the feeling, Justin, but it’s something we all had better get used to.

Lady GaGa reportedly gave Beyoncé a diamond whip and lingerie for her 29th birthday. GaGa apparently wanted to give the RNB star “something special” as the pair have remained friends since recording ‘Telephone’ together last year. A source told The Sun: “The whip was made out of hundreds of diamonds and leather. “When Beyoncé received it she squealed with excitement. The dressing room was decorated with balloons and banners.” GaGa allegedly presented Beyoncé with the whip and matching underwear in Jay-Z’s dressing room, before singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her. They then shared a bottle of champagne together to celebrate.
