Raven began writing rap music at age 12 and by age 16 he began recording. At age 18 Raven was operating a digital recording studio with his younger brother Boris. By age 19, Raven released two Underground mix tapes one entitled RAW, collaborating with artist A-WALL followed by a solo album entitled “Wizeguy”. By this time Raven had become a young adult, with financial obligations. Raven turned to the streets for financial support. He soon found himself engaged in heavy legal trouble facing possible imprisonment. Ultimately, Raven was sentenced to serve two years on house arrest. During this time, Raven found himself naturally returning to his first passion, music. With his new found free time, he began to educate himself on different aspects of the music business. He began writing and recording, with a much more passionate and serious demeanor, gaining respect and attention.

Raven came to the realization that music is his calling, investing heavily into his music career. He has been performing at many hot nightclubs throughout Indianapolis and has also been the opening act for many major recording artists. Raven is currently doing shows, pushing his music in the streets as well as the internet, and working on his mix tape soon to be released later this year.

Although he gained attention he still felt he could do more with music. With this in mind, he soon turned to producing his own music! Majestic quickly developed the skill to make simple yet catchy beats that were good enough to use for promotional use. After learning the trick to the trade, music production consumed his life. Throughout his junior and senior year of high school all his projects were based off of his talent. His first beat that was heard by the school was made in his french class, where he sampled french music and combined it with hiphop. Many were amazed, thus starting his music career. He now was working with other rappers and singers in the school and gaining credential in the music world also. He linked with Avarice aka Mark Battles and produced over half of Avarice’s first album, “One Life to Live”. Majestic would soon go off to college at Ball State University. Still learning how to manage time, Majestic spent the vass majority of his time making music and gaining industry connections. He linked with Dave Reynolds (ex vice-president of Virgin Records) and further advertised his music. Using the time to get even better, Majestic left school to fully pursue his music career. He worked with as many locals as he could come across in Indianapolis. Majestic soon met up with Lux & P and producer Nick Justice to start a local rap group, Hype Sqaud. Members included A.T. aka Yung Drew, Lux & P, Tastic, and Lil Ellis. Majestic took the role as a producer and artist. Majestic soon entered the studio of Music Garage where he recorded the group recorded their first song, “Rep Yo Set”. The group soon faded away as Lux & P and the rest of the memers pursued a solo career. The engineer of Music Garage agreed to sell Majestic’s music to other local artists after hearing the beat for “Rep Yo Set” Months later his main artist Avarice entered him in the nationally known Scribble Jam competition in 2008, but unfortunately with only a day and half of preparation, Majestic placed third. DJ Topspeed of WHHH FM 96.3 noticed a particular gift in Majestic although he lost the competition. Topspeed worked with Majestic and taught him all there is to know about hip hop the use of samples. In early 2009 Majestic met up with Rich CEO and Lethal of Breadwinners Ent. along with Rikashey (former A&R of SonyBMG). Through this connection Majestic sent off beats to possibly be used by Industry Artists. Majestic would soon by fate come acoss Abstract Entertainment where artists KD and Buke bought an instrumental from Music Garage. He linked up with them through myspace and soon contacted Catherine Beck (A&R of Abstract Ent.) to establish a better connection. The team is currently making music for the future and establishing a firm hold on the music industry!

In its first season, Glee featured some weirdly eclectic song choices: Remember “Thong Song” and “Sweet Caroline” in the “Mash-Up” episode? But in the season-two premiere on September 21st, the show will outdo itself. Rolling Stone has learned that the first episode will feature renditions of Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind,” Lady Gaga’s “Telephone,” Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire,” and Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.” In true Gleek fashion, the cast will also perform two vintage Broadway musical standards — “What I Did for Love” from A Chorus Line and “Getting to Know You” from The King and I — as well as “Listen” from the film version of Dreamgirls.

According to the series’ music supervisor, P.J. Bloom, the episode’s plot paved the way for the Jay-Z track: Having placed at the Regional competition in last season’s finale, New Directions will travel to New York for the Nationals. “So we needed a New York song,” explains Bloom. He also says that the use of a second Gaga song — after “Bad Romance” in the previous season — is all due to co-creator Ryan Murphy. “Ryan’s a huge Lady Gaga fan,” Bloom says. “I suspect we’re going to continue to look to her to be part of the show.”

The following week will see the premiere of the show’s all-Britney Spears episode, which will include performances of five Spears songs — although for now, no one’s saying which ones. Bloom is also promising an “additional recording” for the episode, but is mum on details. (We’re already picturing Spears and Matthew Morrison doing a Britney-and-Justin-style duet, but maybe that’s just us.) In other Glee music news: Another soundtrack album could arrive as early as October, and Morrison is wrapping up his solo debut, due on Mercury Records early in 2011.

After the video went viral, Fabolous took to his Twitter with commentary that used humorous lingo “#stupidboyswag,” a play off Soulja Boy’s hit “Pretty Boy Swag.”

“I thought that he was taking shots at me, when it was just jokes. It was a misunderstanding, a mis-communication,” Soulja Boy said on the radio on Wednesday night. “I’m about making money.”

Fabolous was brief and agreed with his younger counterpart.

“We’re not trying to make a LeBron special…we smoothed it out and back to the money,” he said. “I know people thought it was going to be a [Manny] Pacquiao fight, but we sat down like bosses.

During the interview, DJ Clue said that the pair had exchanged information so that there would be no more misunderstandings.

DJ Clue of Power 105 in New York conducted a brief interview where the two men settled their differences.
The entire incident started after Soulja Boy was allegedly caught in a tryst with Kat Stack, who said the young rapper was snorting cocaine. The vixen also showed a plate of the illegal drug in an online video.
