“American Idol” winner Fantasia Barrino was reportedly rushed to a hospital on Monday for a “medication overdose.”

Sources tell WCNC doctors do not believe Barrino’s condition was life-threatening.

It is not clear whether the overdose was accidental or intentional, nor is it known what medications may have been involved.

Barrino was reportedly admitted to Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville just before 9:00 pm.

The singer recently became entangled in an infidelity scandal with sex tape allegations, but has denied being responsible for the marriage’s end.

Im sure the pressure of everything that is going on and everyone passing judgement has something to do with this. I for one hope she doesn’t do something foolish like kill herself. I’m sure its hard to grow old in front of the Hollywood microscope but nothing is ever worth taking your own life.

Montana Fishburne — aka “Chippy D” — tells TMZ, “[My dad] is very upset. I heard that he’s mad at me but I haven’t spoken to him yet. I feel pretty confident that I can work things out with him.”

But here’s where she might be wrong — adding, “I think he wants to support me in everything I do, and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive.”

“Jersey Shore” star Snooki was released from jail Friday after being arrested earlier in the day in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, for disorderly conduct, Us Weekly reported.

The 22-year-old breakout reality television star, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, appeared to be intoxicated as she was taken away by police.

“On Friday at approximately 15:23 hours, Nicole Polizzi was acting in a disorderly matter while on the beach,” Seaside Heights chief of police Thomas J. Boyd told the magazine.

“Miss Polizzi was escorted from the beach by patrolmen and placed under arrest for disorderly conduct … near the boardwalk.

“She was transported to police headquarters and later released on a summons.”

A police spokesperson said that meant Snooki will be assessed by a judge in court at a date to be determined and will likely be ordered to pay a fine.

She was not required to pay any bail money to be released from custody.

Jenni “J-Woww” Farley wrote on Twitter Friday: “Going to bail @Sn00ki out of jail … The things I do for this girl, I swear.”

Entertainment website Hollywood Life reported that Snooki had earlier purchased a beer bong and was seen consuming shots from it. She was also seen doing body shots at a beachside bar.

The cast of the MTV show was scheduled to be in Seaside Heights this week to film the third season of the hit show, which follows eight Italian-American young people as they enjoy the summer at the beach.

The show’s second season, filmed earlier this year in Miami, premiered Thursday evening.

More than 5.3 million people tuned in — a 300 percent increase on last season’s premiere — becoming the network’s second biggest premiere of all time, behind the second season debut of “The Osbournes.”

In the first season of “Jersey Shore,” Snooki was herself the victim of an intoxicated patron who punched her in the face in a bar.

The former ‘Drew Carey Show’ star has hosted ‘The Price Is Right’ since 2007, when he took over for five-decade host Bob Barker. The 86-year-old Barker supposedly took a jab at Carey’s hosting style when grilled by a TMZ cameraman earlier this week, but quickly cleared things up the next day, telling Entertainment Weekly, “He’s a charming man, and kind and gracious. To think that I would say anything derogatory about him is idiocy.”

TMZ is reporting that he owes an astonishing $11 million dollars in back taxes.

The star, who broke onto the national radar with his role as “Smokey” in the Ice Cube penned comedy ‘Friday’ has been very selective in his movie roles of late. He’s only appeared in the two ‘Rush Hour’ sequels since 2001, but he earned a total of $45 million dollars from them.

According to the TMZ report, Tucker failed to pay his taxes in 2001, 2002 and 2004 through 2006.
