Circle City Pride is a week of events. Once again IMC Indy’s Music Channel is a proud sponsor.
The actual Indy Pride Parade and Festival is on Saturday, June 12th, 2010.
Multiplatinum pop diva, Taylor Dayne will headline this year’s Circle City IN Pride Festival, along with American Idol Season Six runner up, Blake Lewis, and OUT Award winning performer, Nhojj.
Circle City IN Pride has grown every year, and to accommodate that growth, this year they have moved the festival to the American Legion Mall which is located at North Street between Pennsylvania & Meridian. With the large grassy area in front of the stage, it will be much more accommodating to the large crowds and those who want to bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the all day entertainment.
With the new venue, there is also a new parade route. As always, the parade will step off at the corner of College and Mass Avenue and proceed down Mass Avenue to Michigan Street. The parade will turn west onto Michigan Street and proceed on Michigan passing the front of the War Memorial Building then will turn north onto Meridian Street and end at the corner of Meridian and St. Clair Streets (See The Map). Applications are still being taken to be in the parade.
